The elevation certificates can be access below or on the WV Flood Tool and the previous permits can be found on this site in the scanned floodplain permits section. Two elevation certificates are required to ensure that you meet that height. The first one is pre-construction and will show how high the first floor (Living space) will need to be and the second certificate is the finished construction and will show that you met the height requirement. You must sign the Elevation Certificate Agreement and ensure the floodplain managers office receives copies of the certificates.
