Doddridge County has Five (5) volunteer fire departments that are ready to respond to any incident:

• Co. 1 -West Union V.F.D.
• Co. 2 - Greenwood V.F.D.
• Co. 3 - Smithburg V.F.D.
• Co. 4 - McClellan V.F.D.
• Co. 6 - B.A.N.C.S. V.F.D.
